Passionate about the maritime world, Jean-Marc trained as an Officer in the Merchant Navy to validate his Commander and Chief Engineer certificates. He sailed for over 10 years on passenger ferries, roll-on/roll-off ships and cruise ships. He has also sailed on specific vessels such as supply ships and salvage tugs. His technical skills enabled him to work as a superintendent for a shipowner.
In 2009, he took over the marine surveyor firm EXPERTS ET CONSULTANTS. His work as a surveyor specializing in hulls and machinery has led him to follow major national and international cases, placing him at the heart of a specialization in the technical field of ships.
One of Smart Sailors' first shareholders, Jean-Marc has supported our adventure since 2017, bringing us his expertise to offer software perfectly adapted to the needs he observes in the field.
